These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, portal, and related services. By accessing or using the portal, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Program Purpose

CBN facilitates participation in court-mandated and community benefit programs, including the Hospital and Morgue (H.A.M.) Program.
CBN provides scheduling, enrollment, notifications, and certification tools.
CBN is not a court, probation office, or legal representative.

2. User Eligibility

By using the portal, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 16 years of age or a legally referred participant.

  • Have received a valid court order or referral from an authorized agency.

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • Ensuring your contact information (email, phone) remains current.

  • Accessing your account regularly to track deadlines and notifications.

CBN is not responsible for missed appointments or non-compliance resulting from your failure to check messages, emails, or portal updates.

4. Payment Terms

All program fees are payable directly to the designated referral agency or through the payment link provided by CBN.
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or program policy.

5. Communication Consent

By providing your contact information, you agree to receive transactional SMS and email notifications regarding your participation.

6. Certificates and Proofs

CBN issues Proof of Enrollment (POE) and Proof of Completion (POC) certificates through its online system once verified criteria are met.
Courts and referral agencies determine final compliance and acceptance of such documents.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the portal for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.

  • Attempt to access data not belonging to you.

  • Interfere with portal operations, automate scraping, or misuse access credentials.

  • Upload, share, or distribute harmful content or malware.

CBN may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The portal integrates with trusted third-party tools, including but not limited to:
Thinkific (for TeleHealth classes), Twilio (for SMS), SendGrid or SES (for email), and Hostinger/Cloudflare (for hosting and security).
Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CBN provides the portal “as is” and “as available.”
While we strive for accuracy and uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, message delivery, or the accuracy of information from third-party systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

CBN, its partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Missed notifications or messages;

  • Program delays or reschedules;

  • Data transmission issues;

  • Unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

11. Termination

CBN reserves the right to suspend or terminate portal access at any time for misuse, violation of terms, or fraudulent activity.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation before pursuing court action.
